On Wednesday 6th March 2013 LSE Cities research fellows Dr. Austin Zeiderman and Dr. Suzi Hall joined a debate, ‘Urban Controversies: How Controversies Shape Our Cities’, organised by Urban@LSE students. Based on multiple case studies, Dr. Austin Zeiderman, Juan Sebastian Lama, Gloria Morrison and Dr. Gareth Jones discussed how controversy is a productive force on the urban environment, shaping the political, social and material fabric of the city. The event was chaired by Dr. Suzi Hall and Amy Parker.
