A group of 25 experts on electric mobility came together at LSE on 25 January for a seminar entitled ‘Electric mobility: an opportunity for de-motorisation in cities?’ The seminar was organized by LSE Cities and Buro Happold, and featured a presentation from Professor Andreas Knie, Managing Director of the Innovation Centre for Mobility and Societal Change, who examined the role of the electric car in a “door to door inter-modal transportation service based on a carbon free society.” Jonathan Bray, Director of the PTEG support unit, has written up some notes from the seminar.
