Fizzah Sajjad contributes to gender equity in transport planning policy paper

2 November 2017

Fizzah Sajjad, a researcher at LSE Cities, has contributed to “Gender equity in transport planning: Improving women’s access to public transport in Pakistan“, a policy paper that focuses primarily on Lahore. The paper found that, even though women travel less, they are more dependent on public transport than men are. However, safety concerns using public transport restrict women’s lives substantially. The policy paper was published by the International Growth Centre.
