Suzi Hall presentation on Rye Lane in Peckham, at Southampton University

On 22 January 2014, Suzi Hall presented to Southampton University’s Geography and Environment department. Suzi’s research emerges from an ethnography of the economic and cultural life of Rye Lane, an intensely multi-ethnic street in Peckham, south London. The effects of accelerated migration into London are explored through the reshaping and diversification of its shop, street and city spaces.
