Part-time Urban Designer and Researcher

LSE Cities is seeking a part-time Urban Designer/Researcher on Urban Age Research to provide urban design, data support and analysis to the centre’s research for a fixed-term period to 30 November 2013.
The successful candidate will join the team at LSE Cities working on preparing the next Urban Age conference on city transformations in Rio in October 2013. They will work on comparing city transformations in several cities by visualising the impact of projects such as Olympic redevelopments, slum upgrading, transport infrastructure and port redevelopment on the urban and social fabric of each city.
In addition to working with the Urban Age research team, the successful applicant may also work on other projects as part of the wider work of LSE Cities.
